Please read the following instructions carefully before purchasing and installing your Mom’s Rich mats to ensure optimal use and product longevity.

1. Installation & Initial Use

• Dry Surface: Ensure the floor is completely dry before installation.

• Cutting Policy: Please verify the product size and type upon receipt. Once the mat has been cut or altered, it cannot be returned or exchanged.

• "Squeaking" Sound: Due to air circulation between the mat and the floor, you may hear a squeaking sound when walking immediately after installation. This will naturally subside as the mat settles and adheres to the floor over time.

2. Material Characteristics (Not Considered Defects)

• Yellowing (Discoloration): Since we do not use harmful anti-yellowing agents during manufacturing, slight discoloration may occur on the bottom or cut edges.

• Environmental Sensitivity: TPU materials may yellow due to environmental factors such as humidity, direct sunlight, high-temperature lighting, or LED lights. This is a natural characteristic of the material.

• Surface Imperfections: Small bubble marks on the bottom or minor molding imperfections (less than 2cm) at the connection points are results of the PU manufacturing process and do not affect product performance.

• Size & Color Variance: A size tolerance of $\pm$3% may occur due to the urethane manufacturing process. Additionally, since we use natural colors without toxic printing processes, color variations of up to 15% may be visible.

3. Cleaning & Maintenance

• Vacuuming: Standard vacuum cleaners are recommended. Avoid steam cleaners or wet mop cleaners, as they can damage the product surface.

• Stain Prevention: Wipe off strong pigments (permanent markers, pens, curry, kimchi juice) or dyes from clothing (leggings, denim, stockings) immediately to prevent permanent staining.

• Cleaning Agents: Use wet wipes for immediate stain removal. Avoid harsh chemical detergents as they may damage the surface.

4. Safety & Usage Precautions

• Intended Use: These are floor mats. Do not use them for any purpose other than flooring (e.g., they are not intended for protection against falls from high places).

• Heat Caution: Keep away from direct heat sources such as irons, hair curlers, or portable burners to prevent product deformation.

• Heavy Objects: Long-term placement of heavy or sharp objects may cause permanent indentations or punctures that may not recover.

• Expansion & Contraction: Depending on indoor temperature changes, the material may expand or contract. Natural wear, including slight sagging, foam compression, or gaps over time, is a natural characteristic and not a quality defect.

5. Liability & Warranty Exclusions

• Customer Negligence: Discoloration, damage, or mold growth caused by improper maintenance is considered customer negligence and is not eligible for exchange or compensation.

• Color Transfer: We are not liable for A/S, returns, or refunds regarding color transfer caused by the use of third-party products (rugs, furniture, clothing, bedding, etc.).

• Floor Material Interaction: Discoloration may occur when used on specific flooring types (e.g., certain PVC flooring, deco tiles) due to chemical reactions with the floor's coating layer.

Tip: If you are installing the mats in a "rug-style" (not wall-to-wall), we recommend using double-sided tape at the edges to minimize sliding or gapping.
